A new month has arrived which means it is time for another subscription box from The Lancashire Witch. And let me tell you… October’s box is jammed packed!
OVERVIEW
The Lancashire Witch brings out a themed box each and every month. Their prices begin at £35 for the box only for UK Customers and £50 for International Customers. However, you are given the option to upgrade your subscription to £45 or £60 a month (for UK customers or International Customers respectively) to include a membership to their online coven hosted on Facebook, where you gain access to a wealth of information, workshops and coffee catch ups. The boxes are in line with the monthly theme in the online coven.
THEME
October’s theme was an obvious but a goodie: Samhain and Ancestral Workings. Anyone who is slightly magically inclined is aware that October is a big month in the calender, as it symbolises the time where the veil between ours and the spirits are at it’s thinnest. Therefore, divination and ancestral working is an absolute must at this time of year meaning this box was perfect!
PRODUCTS
Now… October’s box wasn’t your standard box! In fact, it actually came with a bonus item inside. The Lancashire Witch’s boxes were already at an amazing value, but this month, it has gone above and beyond.

Wow! What a box! I am honestly blown away with the amount that is in this box, and I couldn’t be more grateful for my monthly treat. As you can see, each of the items has been carefully chosen, perfect for the Samhain season.
I also want to add a little note of gratitude to The Lancashire Witch as they sent this box earlier than the usual sending date to ensure they would arrive to us before Samhain. This was a very nice touch as not many other businesses would do that.
We all know by now how much I love and work with scents. Whether it be candles, my Affirmation Atomisers or Aura Sprays, using a quick smell is always my go to, so it is no surprise that yet again I am incredibly pleased with the scented products in the box.
I always want to give a little shout out to the quality of the products which can really be seen in this box. The Lancashire Witch doesn’t just use any old herbs, or just make oils using cheap fragrance oils. No… They use authentic and organic herbs, and not just one or two petals… Each of their products are made with a substantial amount of herbs and they can even be reused!
My favourite item however this month is the tea. I am definitely one of those “hipsters” apparently, that enjoys everything pumpkin spiced. You can only imagine my excitement when I saw it was called the Pumpkin Patch Tea and let me tell you… it did not dissapoint!
HOW I USE THE PRODUCTS
This box is very much Samhain based and therefore, naturally one would use it around Samhain time.
Saying that, loving, calling, respecting and working with your ancestors is not just for Samhain, but for life. Therefore, there is no reason why these products could not be used at any time of year. Even the “Samhain” products can be used on a different day as you could be using it to mimic the thinness of the veil to help you call upon your ancestors easier. This is what I will be doing whenever I want to ask for support or guidance from my loved ones.
