It has come to that time of month again where I dig into my favourite subscription of the month from The Lancashire Witch. July’s subscription box was truly amazing and can we just take a quick second to talk about the delightful smell when you open the box? Anyway, I digress… Here is this month’s sub box!
OVERVIEW
The Lancashire Witch brings out a themed box each and every month. Their prices begin at £35 for the box only for UK Customers and £50 for International Customers. However, you are given the option to upgrade your subscription to £45 or £60 a month (for UK customers or International Customers respectively) to include a membership to their online coven hosted on Facebook, where you gain access to a wealth of information, workshops and coffee catch ups. The boxes are in line with the monthly theme in the online coven.
THEME
July’s theme this month was Astral Travel and Pathwalking. As I am a part of the online coven as well, we spent the month working on the difference between astral travel and pathwalking as well as of course learning about herbs that really do help with any journeying work. The range of items in the box this month matched this theme and I love the name and the vibes of the limited edition this month.
PRODUCTS
When they say that you get more than your money’s worth, they weren’t kidding! Inside the box, I found a vast array of items… and the smell! Absolutely divine!

So, as you can see here, this box really is a one stop shop of a vast quantity of items that you could possibly need to do pathwalking or astral travel. Whilst I have been pathwalking ad astral travelling for quite some time, it is always incredibly handy having items to help you on days where you may feel a little stressed and in need of some calm time, or to protect yourself should you need it.
I know I have already eluded to this above… But can we just take another quick moment to discuss the gorgeous smells? Ok… I know… I may be a little excitable here but I do feel this may be the best smelling box so far from The Lancashire Witch which for someone who lives off scents (hence my very large collection of Aura Sprays and Candles), I have to applaud this as it captivated me instantly.
I am loving the collection of herbs that came in this box. For some, the thought of valerian may be a little intimidating because let’s face it, it certainly has a “distinguishable” smell and taste which many are somewhat opposed to. However, Valerian is a KEY staple in journeying and shadow work so I am so glad that The Lancashire Witch hasn’t shied away from using Valerian and even Wormwood.
I am also, as usual, very happy with my cupboard basics. The rice is the most wondrous colour, which for those who missed the accompanying livestream, try not to get the rice on any clothing or furnishings as the beetroot powder may stain 😉 The floor wash and aura spray make me feel simultaneously grounded yet ready to look within and pathwalk.
My favourite however this month (or should I say favourites) are the oil and the incense. The limited range incense, See My Dreams, smells as vivid as the name suggests, which for someone who often loves to analyse dreamwork, is incredibly helpful for me. The oil feels like a little powerhouse, able to open you up and protect you as you do your workings.
HOW I USE THE PRODUCTS
As I mentioned before, I often go pathwalking and am really becoming very interested in inner shadow work and dream therapy, so I do have a sneaky feeling, this box is going to get used quite often.
This box isn’t one that will probably used in a sit down setting like a ritual, but more of a use as and when needed. However, on a night where I am sitting down to do a little journeying/pathwalking or even visualisation work, I will begin by sipping the tea to open myself up and cleansing the room with the incense and allowing that to burn as I continue. The oil and candle will provide a wonderful central point if I am need of a little help focusing, and the Aura Spray will be great throughout the working or even after.
